Magazine Rack Title Index

An Index to Archive.org's Magazine Rack

Archive.org’s MagazineRack is a collection of 121,745 digitized magazines and monthly publications

Searching Titles is probably the best way to browse this massive horde.  Within the command and control bar, click the radio button that says Titles.  Then go to the far right of the control bar and click on the small stack of straight lines (which represents a choice of List View, as opposed to the button made out of squares, which represents Picturer View).   Within List View, one can see a dozen magazine titles at once. That makes it a bit easier to browse, but the resulting heap of titles is still very difficult to navigater

The A to Z Index tool at the top of the Titles page simplifies things a bit.  Want a magazine Title by name?  Use the "Search This Collection" search box on the left. Or use The A to Z tool (available only within Title mode), which helps you to hop into the magazine's neighborhood within the alphabet.  A number of filter boxes, in the far left column, helps narrow the results even further.

·   To find public domain material, use the filter boxes in the far left column to search on any year before 1926. Simply click the box next to the year or years that you want, hit enter, and review the results.  Or, use the A to Z Index below to spot a title you want and then use the "Search This Collection" search engine to find the title.

Note: Please be patient.   This A to Z list is a work in progress (trying to index 120,000 plus journals is quite a chore, and the work has just begun)
